The Challenge:
A traffic management products company with 6 locations and 280 endpoints (laptops, desktops, tablets) tracked IT assets in spreadsheets with 22% inventory accuracy. The Solution:

Azure AI optimized refresh timing based on reliability data, total cost of ownership, and user productivity impact. Power BI dashboards tracked asset inventory, lifecycle status, warranty coverage, license compliance, and refresh budget forecasting.
Result:
Asset inventory accuracy improved from 78% to 98% enabling better planning and cost control, refresh cycles standardized at 4 years with predictable budgeting versus reactive purchases, and secure retirement procedures eliminated data breach risk (previously 8 devices annually retired without proper data sanitization). Software license optimization saved $95K annually through right-sizing, and support contract management prevented $45K in out-of-warranty repair costs.
